SKETCH IT!
Reading Report #5
Hi everyone, come back again to my blogger. This time I have an assignment to read a story from an English e-Reader, choose one favourite scene from the story, and make a sketch of one favourite scene. So I hope you enjoy reading my work.
I have finished reading a story and I chose one story which makes me interested in telling it. The story is "A Picture to Remember" by Sarah Scott Malden, consisting of 35 pages with a total of 8856 words, the genre is fiction and the level is (B1) / Pre- Intermediate.
"A Picture to Remember" is about a girl named Christina Rinaldi who works at the National Museum, Buenos Aires (Argentina). She really liked her job in the arts. One day, the director of the museum called her into the office to do the work she was supposed to do. The famous Paris museum wants to send expensive paintings to the national museum where Christina works. She is very enthusiastic about this. Therefore, she did his best to prepare for the exhibition. But after she finished work, something terrible happened to her. On the way home, Christina met a gunman with a red flower tattoo on his neck. The man will try to kill her. But fortunately, the attempted murder was prevented by Christina with the help of her friend.
Here is my sketch...
I drew that scene of the story when Christina had solved the various problems she was experiencing. She was finally able to return to normal work at the museum and successfully carried out an Impressionist exhibition. The exhibition was attended by many people. Christina's parents and friends were also present at the exhibition.
I chose that scene, because this story has a happy ending. That moment was the most beautiful moment Christina experienced. She could feel happiness and togetherness with the presence of family and friends who supported her to forget the bad memories that had happened. I think Christina is very loved and liked by many people. In addition, by starting a normal life Christina can eliminate the trauma of meeting the gunman.
That's all from me. Thank You...
